Tamlin B. Lorenz

I am a creative and people-centered individual who thrives on building connections, both personally and professionally. In my free time, I enjoy crafting and spending quality time with friends, often combining creativity and community in meaningful ways. Whether it’s collaborating on a DIY project or simply enjoying conversation, I find inspiration in the shared experience.

Professionally, I bring over 25 years of experience in the rental construction industry, where I developed a strong foundation in operations, logistics, customer service, and training. This background has given me a deep appreciation for problem-solving, adaptability, and the importance of well-structured systems - skills that continue to serve me across industries.

I hold a degree in Human Resources from Northern Arizona University, which has equipped me with valuable insights into organizational dynamics, employee engagement, and strategic communication. My passion for creating efficient, people-first experiences fuels my interest in design, process improvement, and collaborative work environments.

As a UX professional with a strong background in project and people management, process improvement, and software support. I am experienced in conducting user research, optimizing workflows, and enhancing digital experiences through data-driven decisions. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-friendly designs.

Now, I’m excited to channel my creativity and industry knowledge into projects that prioritize user experience, community building, and thoughtful engagement.

Creative Pillars

Be Kind

Always lead with kindness. Treat others with the same respect and understanding you’d hope for yourself, because at the end of the day, we’re all human, navigating similar hopes, needs, and unseen challenges. Stay authentic to who you are, and honor that same authenticity in others.

Embrace your creativity

Everyone needs a creative outlet—without it, we’d all go a little mad! For me, creativity is both a passion and a form of self-care. When I’m not designing, I find joy and calm in scrapbooking, card making, coloring, and painting. These moments of hands-on creativity are my way of meditating, relaxing, and reconnecting with myself.

Love what you do

Life’s too short to spend your time on something that doesn’t resonate with you. Stay connected to your work - let it inspire you, challenge you, and if needed, don’t be afraid to change direction, even when it’s scary. We all deserve to find joy in what we do, especially in the work we devote so much of our lives to. Doing something that brings you fulfillment isn’t just meaningful - it’s the most productive path you can take.
